What are employee newsletters?

Employee newsletters are electronic messages directed towards the company’s employees – all or selected teams – giving them information about their company’s operation. They are often sent out regularly and en masse, as they affect a wide audience.

How to create a newsletter?

If you have Workai editor privileges, select Newsletter options, and on the floating menu (1), click New Newsletter (2). Now you can effortlessly title your message, edit the text of your newsletter, and add graphics, or multimedia.  What’s more, you can add also tags to the message – this will significantly increase the chances of reaching users who subscribe to the right tags, as well as organize content with relevant topics. You can save the prepared content, publish it on the intranet or send it directly to the recipients’ inboxes.

How to send your employee newsletter?

It’s super easy. Click Publish and Send Newsletter button located in the bottom left corner. Then, you’ll see a pop-up window with several options to choose from. Here, you can determine if you want to schedule your newsletter, send it immediately, select the recipients, etc. After selecting the options convenient for you, click confirm and you’re done!

How to use employee newsletters?

First of all, with caution – employee newsletters are a quick way to send messages to everyone at once, but using this option too often risks information chaos. Besides, if employees receive too many such messages, they will stop reading them. To minimize information chaos, with Workai you will quickly create newsletter segments of specific recipients’ groups.

How can you do it?

Go to the administration panel, choose the Newsletter tab and go to the Segments subsections where you can manage your ready segments and create new ones. To add a new segment, click Add Segment. You’ll see a pop-up window where you can name your segment, specify a segment welcome message, choose users and groups in the segment, and name a sender. Save it, your new segment list is ready.

Publish newsletter lists

Organize your employee newsletters on the intranet – publish newsletter lists. Publishing such a list will give users a clear view of all the content you display in one place. Try this – click on the Add element button in the floating menu, then select the Newsletters list from the drop-down list. Edit the content and publish.
